EVOLVE: ONE BLOCK AT A TIME IS A CONVERSATION-BASED GAME INSPIRED BY CLASSIC BLOCK-STACKING PLAY. EACH BLOCK HOLDS A NUMBER, AND EACH NUMBER UNLOCKS A QUESTION DESIGNED TO DEEPEN COMMUNICATION, SPARK REFLECTION, AND ENCOURAGE GROWTH—ONE BLOCK AT A TIME.

SETUP

  • Stack the blocks into a tower, just like a traditional block-stacking game.

  • Place the question list or cards within reach.

  • Sit facing each other in a comfortable, distraction-free space.

  • Decide whether you’re playing Non-Competitive or Competitive mode.


HOW TO PLAY


NON-COMPETITIVE VERSION (CONNECTION OVER COMPETITION)

GOAL: MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION AND EMOTIONAL GROWTH.

  • Take turns carefully removing one block from the tower.

  • Read the number on the block.

  • Answer the matching question honestly and fully.

  • Place the block on top of the tower.

  • Continue alternating turns.


OPTIONAL RULE:

YOUR PARTNER MAY ASK ONE FOLLOW-UP QUESTION FOR CLARITY OR DEEPER CONNECTION.


THERE ARE NO WINNERS OR LOSERS—ONLY GROWTH, UNDERSTANDING, AND CONVERSATION. COMPETITIVE VERSION (GROWTH WITH A LITTLE PRESSURE)

GOAL: ANSWER AUTHENTICALLY WHILE KEEPING THE TOWER STANDING.


  • Players take turns removing one block at a time.

  • Read and answer the question matching the block number.

  • After answering, place the block on top of the tower.

  • If a player refuses to answer, they must pull another block.

  • The game continues until the tower falls.


WINNING OPTIONS (CHOOSE ONE):

  • The player who does NOT knock over the tower wins

  • The player who answers the most questions before the fall wins

  • Loser completes a pre-agreed challenge (date planning, truth round, or apology card)
